Come spend your Sunday afternoon with us for our Salad Cook-off—and yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like! Local salad-makers will compete for homemade ribbons with inventive takes on fruit salad, pasta salad, tuna salad, bean salad, and beyond. Expect bold flavors, unexpected combos, and a whole lot of joy on the table.

Calling all salad aficionados and taste makers in central Kentucky! Institute 193 is thrilled to announce our upcoming Salad Cook-off, set to take place July 19 at 215 N Limestone. Ribbons will be awarded!

In celebration of the wonders of summer produce, we invite you to toss your salad in the ring and see if it comes out on top! Salads of any size or shape are welcome. Fattoush salad, Gado-Gado salad, Panzanella salad, Fresh Garden Green salad, Slaw salad… possibilities are endless. Wow your friends, delight your community, and celebrate the season’s bounty.
