Swing by Institute 193’s main gallery and 193 SHOP tomorrow, Saturday, April 11, from 3-6PM to grab some free CDs from WRFL, listen to live music, and check out Robert Beatty’s print sale.

WRFL will be set up in our main gallery with CDs for the taking, crafts for the making, and bands for the listening. We’ll have a performance by Chlora at 3pm and another show by Cultivars at 4pm. The WRFL Board of Directors will be slinging merch and DJing in the downtime. Come on out and support local radio!

Over at 193 SHOP, Robert Beatty will be set up with a heap of items from his personal archive of works, including records, posters, and prints. As he’s put it, “Fact of the matter is that I’ve made way too much artwork for too many things over the past decade, and my record shelves and flat files are filled to the brim, so I’m thinning out some extra copies of things from my archives for the first time ever at the 193 SHOP in Lexington next weekend! Lots of cool stuff on the cheap, in person only! And you can see my print show that’s up there while you’re at it.”
